Kat joined us as a Community Communications Coordinator for our utility-scale solar rural campaign in Logan County.

A native of the area, she combines her passion for sustainability, familiarity with the region, and expertise in communications to advocate for and educate on renewable energy projects. She has a degree in English from Wright State University and experience working with notable brands like Cardinal Health, AEP Ohio, Farm Credit Mid-America, and Honda.

In her free time, Kat enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her husband and daughter.

Sarah is a 2020 graduate of Ohio University with a M.A. in Political Science with a focus on Human Rights and Community Development, and worked with Amnesty International as a Grassroots Advocacy & Refugee Rights intern, focused on aiding Climate Refugees. Sarah is also an avid reader and can often be seen bringing books to our Cleveland office to share with staff, and always has a recommendation at the ready.
